Rowan Sweater
Here is my picture of my latest sweater. This one is for me!!! I love this book, The Rowan lima collection. The yarn is fun to work with and the pattern was easy to follow and came out with beautiful detailed cables. The yarn is very soft. Many colors to choose from. My next one will be a dark blue. I cannot wait!!!!

Fall 2009

It is hard to beleive that a year has gone by and I am just getting to update my blog. We have a new grandson, Myles Andrew who was born on our wedding Anniversay, July 5. Jackson, who is now 2 is a big brother. He made Number 4. Lauren, who just turned 5 started school, sister Meghan turned 1.
I have been busy knitting, even though I had a hard start at the beginning of the year I fell and broke my l wrist. This was hard in so many ways and you must all understand that I could not knit very well for a couple of months. I did try and it was great for movement of the wrist. I am glad that is all over with and do not want that again. I would not wish that for anyone.
I have been and am all done with Christmas projects for the 4 grandchildren. Below you will see the pictures. I am now knitting for myself. Working on sweater #1 and soon #2 and #3. I alread have the yarn to make the grandaughters their sweaters for next Christmas. I want to make them the wallaby in a green tweed. Not sure what to make yet for the boys.

5 hour baby sweater

Here is the 5 hour baby sweater I made for our new grandaughter born July 28th. Meghan Marie Hepfer will be getting this next weekend when we go out to see her. It is small, but I wanted her to have one of her own because I am sure she will be handed down several of her big sisters. I loved making this sweater. It took me more than 5 hours, but I am sure they will go quicker every time.
