5 hour baby sweater

Here is the 5 hour baby sweater I made for our new grandaughter born July 28th. Meghan Marie Hepfer will be getting this next weekend when we go out to see her. It is small, but I wanted her to have one of her own because I am sure she will be handed down several of her big sisters. I loved making this sweater. It took me more than 5 hours, but I am sure they will go quicker every time.

Here is our wedding cake I made for our special day, July 5, 2008. It was a beautiful day, wedding in our back yard with a reception/dinner at the Jillian on 2 in Erving, Ma. I will be posting other pictures of the occasion. There is a feeling of sadness when it is all over. We loved every minute of it!!

THE DAY IS COMING SOON AND I HAVE BEEN BUSY PREPARING FOR IT. MAKING OF JAM FOR GIFTING, DECORATIONS FOR BACK YARD, LAWN PLANTING AND PAINTING INSIDE OF HOUSE HAVE BEEN ON OUR PLATES SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR. I WILL POST PICTURES OF THE BIG DAY , JULY 5, WHEN I HAVE THEM. WE ARE SO EXCITED AND HOPE THE WEATHER IS DRY SINCE IT IS IN THE BACKYARD!!!!!

FINALLY DONE, I MADE 2 OF THESE FOR CHRISTMAS FOR OUR NEW GRANDAUGHTER DUE IN JULY AND FOR LAUREN. MOMMY WANTS IDENTICAL SWEATER FOR THEM FOR CHRISTMAS. SOOO CUTE AND FUN TO MAKE.

HERE IS THE WEE WILLIE WHISTLE SWEATER I HAVE MADE FOR JACKSON FOR CHRISTMAS. IT IS DONE IN SYRACUSE COLORS IN RESPECT FOR DADDIE. THIS CAME OUT OF THE BOOK MISS BEA'S BAND, LOUSIA HARDING. I HAD ALOT OF FUN MAKING THIS ONE.

Child's Boat Sweater

Finally, this sweater and sunhat are done for Lauren for her birthday in October. I am not sure if it will be long enough, but I have decided to add a few rows on the bottom if I have to. It is boxy and I think it will stretch some fore it is made with cotton ease with some acrylic. I added the sunhat for an added special touch. There is a image of a boat on the front. Lauren goes on her Daddy's boat, so she can wear this so she can be a special passenger!!

JACKSON'S HOOD SWEATER

JACKSON'S BIRTHDAY SWEATER IS FINALLY DONE. I HOPE HE STILL WILL FIT INTO IT IN THE FALL. HIS BIRTHDAY IS IN JUNE AND SNICKERDOODLE IS A WONDERFUL COLOR FOR HIM. I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE HIM IN THIS.

Tiramisu-Inspired Baby blanket

Here is the tiramisu-inspired blanket I just finished. This will be for our new baby girl due July 24th. I got this pattern from Lisa and I decided to go a little larger. I had alot of fun making this and it was fun to see it work up so beautifully. I will definately make more of these!!!

Here is the new sweater remade for Lauren. I just finished the blocking this morning. It is now in the box to go to her with her Easter gifts. The sweater on top is the new one, and the bottom is the shrunk one. Again, I am saving the shrunk one for the next baby . We will find out on the 24th of this month the sex. If it is a girl, I will give it back to Tina when the baby comes. Or if it is a boy, Lauren will get the sweater back on a build a bear for being my flowergirl at our wedding in July. Either way, it will not be a waist. I wish I could see her face when she opens up her box. She will probably say Grammieeeeeeeeee!!!!!

Hello everyone, I got a call from my daughter Tina last night and the beautiful sweater I made for Lauren for Christmas went into the washer and was dried and guess what? Shrunk!! Lauren was upset at Daddy. Oh well, I told Tina to get the same yarn up her way, and Grammie will make another one.

ANOTHER BABY SWEATER

Here is a sweater for Jackson for his 1st birthday.
It is called babies neckdown cardigan being done with wool of andes from knit picks, snicerdoodle. It is one of my favorite patterns and yarn. I will post the finished job.

Afghan Finally Finished

Finally I finished this afghan!!! My aunt made me one years ago and I wanted to make a solid color to go more in my home. This is not my usual knitting. It is done with a size H chrochet hook. It works up fast. One more thing I wanted done before my big day in July!!!!
