MY FIRST CUTE BABY KIMONO!!!!! I made this for a friend for her grandaugher's christening.
Here is the school bus scarf. Lots of fun to do this one. I expect I will be making more of these in the next years. This one is for my cousin who is a retired school teacher. She will get this at Christmas this year.
The hooded cardigan is done for
Jackson. It turned out alittle
bigger, but he will grow into it.

Here is my Christmas tree for this year. I decided to do a little forest. I have a mommy and 3 babies! I love the county look this gives.

VANILLA THUMBPRINTS

I made these cookies and would love to share the recipe with you all. Here it is:

3/4 cups butter softened
1 cup confectioner's sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups flour
rasberry or apricot jam

Heat oven to 350. Combine butter and sugar in the bowl of an electric mixer. Cream to lite and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla. Add flour.

Roll 2 teaspoons of dough between your hands to a 1 inch circle. Space 2 inches apart, moisted your thumb with water and make an indent into the dough. Make it wide enough so the jam does not mealt out. Fill with jam, bake about 10-12 min. until lightly golden.

Mittens, Mittens, Mittens

I made these mittens with different yarns that I had in my stash. I added some moehair to the white and black ones. The moehair adds softness to the mitten and I hope warmth.

ENGAGED

Here we are and we have finally decided to get married. Wedding is set for July 5, 2008!!!!! We have had fun thinking about a back yard wedding with a sit down dinner elsewhere. I will keep you posted with up coming plans. He is the love of my life!

Here is the sweater I just finished for Lauren for Christmas. This sweater is great because it knits up quickly .My daughter Tina lives in Baldwinsville, N.Y. and every fall we go to a knitting store near her and she picked the yarn for this. It is a ella rae 100% wool . The pattern is from coldwater called Tulips. Again, this sweater was a dream compared to the white hooded sweater for my grandson that is almost done. I have to sew it together and I will post it. That too will be beatiful, but took more time to knit.

Franklin County Fair

Here is the red sweater I made for my grand daughter Lauren for her birthday. I entered it into the Franklin County Fair and won 2nd prize. It is hard to see the detail so when I get it back I will try to get a better shot. I only wanted to get a ribbon so I could give it to her with the sweater. It was fun to see all the crafting there. Till next year. (Please do not tell her or her mommy. It is a surprise)

Baptism Cap

HERE IS THE BAPTISM BONNET. He will look sooooooooo cute!!! He is my little cutie patootie!!!!

FAMILY FAVORITE ECLAIR RING

Here is my family's favorite eclair ring recipe:

1 cup water
1/4 lb. butter or margaring(1 stick)

Bring to boil, turn heat down to low and add 1 cup flour; 1/4 teaspoon salt. Stir fast until dough layer leaves sides of pan; quickly put into a larger bowl and add 4 eggs all at once. Use beater until smooth. Grease pizza pan or large cookie sheet. Place dough to form a circle or 2 smaller circles. Bake 400 degrees for 40 min. Shut oven off when done and leave in oven for 15 additional minutes.

FILLING

2 1/4 cups milk
2 -4 1/2 oz. pkgs. instant vanilla pudding (smallest size)
1-41/2 iz. Cool Whip

Add milk to pudding . Beat until a little thick. Refrigerate. Then fold in cool whip. Cut off top of ring---fill with pudding and put top back on. Frost with chocolate frosting. (I use canned and I melt it in the microwave alittle and pour over the top of ring.)

This recipe has been in my family for years. There is never a time that it is ever left over. I am making 2 of these for the baptism. I figured this is a good time to share it with all of my knitting and crafting friends. Enjoy!!!!!!!

Jackson's Christening Outfit

Finally it is done. I put the

buttons on the romper and the blue

ribbon on the cap. I tried it on him

last weekend and I had to shorten

it an inch and take the pants in some.

The next time you see this he will

be in it. I have enough of the wedding

dress left to make a girls outfit someday.
